I found joy and healing through a series of large acrylic florals entitled, ‘In Lieu of Flowers, Grief on Canvas’. Each painting became a long conversation of gratitude, sorrow, regret and love. Today, my studio is filled with bold, abstract florals with inspiration drawn from my gardens and my memories!

Note: This is 1 of 2 Bougainvillea paintings by Elaine Wallis. They are separate paintings but  can be combined to form a larger painting (measuring approximately 72" X 48"). Bidders can bid on either painting or they can bid on both if they wish the pair.
