Natick Community Organic Farm

NCOF is a nonprofit, certified-organic farm providing productive open space, farm products, and has-on education for all ages, year-round. Committed to farming methods that are ecologically healthy and sustainable, the Farm places special emphasis on service to youth through year-round classes, work-experience programs, and volunteer opportunities for working the land.

All proceeds from the NCOF Harvest Dinner Online Auction support the NCOF Teen Work Program, an apprenticing and mentoring program for teenagers ages fourteen to sixteen. Teens involved in the program gain a wide array of skills including carpentry and mechanics. They are also able to gain a sense of community, independence, and accomplishment, all while earning competitive wages, helping the environment, and forming healthy social relationships with their peers and mentoring adults.

Additional prizes will be auctioned in support of the Teen Program at the NCOF Harvest Dinner, a scrumptious meal of local and organic vegetables, meats, fruits, wines, beers, fish, and cheeses on Monday, September 19 at the Wellesley College Club, 727 Washington St., Wellesley, MA 02481.
