Benefit Auction for Moose's Chemotherapy Treatments

Moose the Greyhound, seen here with his oncologist, is very happy to be nearing the end of his chemotherapy treatments.
It was just last summer that Moose was diagnosed with cancer after his caretakers noticed a sore on his nose that wouldn’t heal no matter what they tried. Everyone was very surprised to hear the diagnosis of cancer. Although no diagnosis of cancer is good, we were relieved to hear that this type of cancer is very receptive to chemotherapy and that he stood a good chance at having a good quality of life after treatment.
And so, Moose’s journey to remission began. We held a benefit yard sale to help with the cost of the chemotherapy treatments and other medications he would need over the next 8 months. The yard sale was a huge success and put a great dent in his medical expenses but didn’t cover all of the costs.
Moose is responding very well to the chemotherapy and has had few side effects. He is finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel as his treatment nears the end. We are launching an online auction on February 1, and ending on Valentine’s Day, to help with the costs of his last two chemotherapy treatments and medications. Our goal is to raise $1,700 for Moose.

You can help Moose cross the chemotherapy finish line by bidding on the many amazing items in this auction. Also, please share the auction link with all of your animal loving friends, family and co-workers. You can also send a donation through our website at www.HelpingGreyhounds.org or by clicking on the "Donate Cash" link at the bottom of the page. Thank you for your help and support!
