Design: The blending of the wool yarns with the silk helps create the transitions from one color to the next.

Care: Professional cleaning

Designer's inspiration: Inspired by two Oriental rugs with ornate patterns of rich navy blues and vivid reds that were in his family home as he was growing up, Asher wanted to capture his memory of those rugs when sunlight reflected off their silk, washing out the colors, turning them almost iridescent and blurring their patterns together.

About: Asher Dunn is the owner of the Providence-based furniture company, Studio Dunn. His furnishings have developed a loyal customer base and media following: his designs have been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Elle Décor and Dwell.
