Design: Wool soumak weave (flat weave) with a cut silk pile pattern
Care: Professional cleaning
Designer's inspiration: Always inspired and influenced by the past, Amy wanted to incorporate a sense of history into this chocolate brown and cream rug by taking an antique Soumak wool construction and layering on a large Moroccan pattern in silk.
About: Amy Aidinis Hirsch developed her sophisticated eye while studying interior design at New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology and working for several of Architectural Digest’s top 100 interior designers. She currently owns Amy Aidinis Hirsch Interior Design in Greenwich, Connecticut.
